A person has been arrested in Chennai for allegedly dragging a pregnant lady on the highway whereas attempting to grab her gold chain, within the Zamin Pallavaram space of town on Friday. The video of the incident, captured on CCTV cameras, had gone viral on social media. Based on the police, the lady, recognized as Geetha (24), who’s eight months pregnant, was providing pooja to a Vinayagar shrine close to her home round 7:30 am when two males stopped just a few meters forward.
