SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Worldwide Airport was placed on lockdown Thursday after a taking pictures that concerned a police officer, in accordance with San Antonio police.
Police stated the taking pictures occurred at 9800 Airport Boulevard. It’s unclear who, if anybody was shot, however police stated there was no energetic risk to the general public.
An airport spokesperson stated an “energetic shooter” was reported on the airport at about 2:30 p.m.
Police stated the scenario was “contained” and no different suspect was being searched for this incident.
Two folks have been taken to the hospital for accidents they suffered whereas working away from the realm in the course of the gunfire.
Earlier on Thursday, a shooter opened fire from a flyover overpass at Freeway 281 and Loop 1604. No person was injured, however police stated the shooter was nonetheless on the unfastened. It’s unclear whether or not these incidents are associated.
