The Higher Chennai Company collected fines from 64 business institutions for violation of COVID-19 norms on Sunday.
In response to a press launch, groups had been despatched to zones, resembling Teynampet, Kodambakkam, Royapuram and Anna Nagar, to watch violations of COVID-19 Customary Working Procedures. Large crowds had been reported in T. Nagar, Purasawalkam, Padi and Royapuram on Sunday, with 64 business institutions violating bodily distancing norms.
The Company constituted 9 groups for enforcement of the principles pertaining to COVID-19 administration. Two of them visited Teynampet, three went to Kodambakkam, two inspected locations round Anna Nagar and two checked Royapuram on Sunday.
Company Commissioner Gagandeep Singh Bedi visited business areas, resembling T. Nagar, to examine the retailers on Sunday.
A tremendous quantity of ₹2.09 lakh was collected from business institutions and people on Sunday, the discharge mentioned.
